My journey to Allview Escape began long before I purchased the property in 2003.

​ Although I was born in Western Sydney, I grew up between our family farm at Cecil Park and a 40-acre property near Lithgow, where weekends were spent exploring the bush, surrounded by nature. It was there that I fell in love with the Blue Mountains and knew, one day, this was where I wanted to build my future.

Perhaps that love of hospitality also comes from my Italian heritage. My mother was born in the breathtaking Dolomites of Northern Italy, where welcoming people into your home, sharing good food and making guests feel like family is simply part of everyday life.

My first experience in hospitality came when I was only twelve years old. My mother owned a hair salon, and one of my jobs was making tea and coffee for her clients. It may have seemed like a small task at the time, but it taught me something I’ve never forgotten—that people remember how you make them feel.

That philosophy has stayed with me throughout more than 35 years in customer service and over 23 years in hospitality.

When I purchased Allview Escape in 2003, I wanted to create more than just a beautiful venue. I wanted to create a place where people felt genuinely welcomed, where every guest felt cared for, and where every celebration became a lifelong memory.

​

Since then we’ve been honoured to host hundreds of weddings, family reunions, celebrations and, I’m sure, more marriage proposals than I’ll ever know about.

 

Even today, you’ll often find me making coffees for our guests on our Italian coffee machine. I still love surprising people with those unexpected little touches, because I believe it’s often the smallest gestures that leave the biggest impression.

For me, hospitality has never been about simply providing accommodation or a venue.

It’s about making people feel at home.

It’s about creating moments they’ll never forget.

And it’s about sharing a place that has meant so much to me for so many years.
